He wasn't exposed in the Grand Final; he came in to shut the ball down and they got a great offload away. If he stays out Feldt doesn't get the ball but Morgan is one on one which may well have resulted with the same outcome of a try. Oates was right to come in and try and shut it down.

Morgan would not have scored. That is a guarantee.

He was well and truly covered. Reed and Milford were there. They had him covered. Morgan doesn't get the offload away, Milford and Reed pull him down well short of the try line. He would have needed to be 10 feet tall to reach out and score.

Oates fucked up, it's as simple as that. He panicked and made the wrong call. Oates stays on Feldt and Broncos win the Grand Final. That's a guarantee.
