Ah man the look on Hunts face also! it's like he's been smelling dog shit on Locky's shoe the whole time and couldn't wait to get away.
Back to the game -holy shit what an exhausting game. Very much based on confident defense and finally we are seeing our strategy take ownership. Bennet is an absolute god of football.
Ideally we want to find more opportunities and camp out in their 20 for longer periods, but the opposition (and refs) try so hard not to give them to us. Can't remember a tight game where we had more than 55% possession!
I think we controlled that game brilliantly though. All it was going to take was a minor error and a missed tackle in the end, but we love that inch in front style of game and force them to make the risky plays and counter punch where possible.
Looking forward to Friday week vs Roosters most likely, but hopeful the dogs get up by a whisker after decimating their stocks!
There's a part of me that wants a fair opposition that's not going to stumble into the semi's on the back of a grueling win, but then I look at the Rorters player roster or remember the finals where we lose Wallace or Lockyer and how little teams like Manly or Melbourne cared.
Lets crush whatever scraps are thrown at us for the next 2 games!
