POST GAME Qualifying Final - Broncos vs Cowboys

Well, Broncos have overtaken Roosters as favorites to win the premiership.

No more flying under the radar..

Although, a win against the Bulldogs will make Roosters favorites again.

Well, not necessarily so. It depends on how they win and what the consequences of the win are. If they lose another couple of key players to injury, and/or have one or two cited and suspended, I doubt that you would see them as favourites.

Melbourne are favourites now aren't they ? Broncos next and the Roosters after

Just checked Sportsbet and the Roosters are indeed second pick again although straight after the Roosters game Melbourne went to outright favourite.

Huge, my understanding was that Broncos were now favourites with the bookies, roosters second and storm third.

Broncs are 3.35 for the Premiership, Roosters 3.75, Cows 5.50 and Storm 4.00

Hahaha, the roosters have two cited and suspended , that's a good one.

How's Tallis going on about Blair holding Thurston down and how it should have been a sin bin... He is a deadset pork chop!! I used to love Gordie, but he absolutely shits me to tears these days his agenda is so obvious it's not even funny...

He's probably right though ... This place would go into meltdown if a Cowboys player did that to Hunt...

For once something went our way .

Should have been a penalty to us for the elbow from Thurston. Which I think is what caused Blair to stay on him.. Something Gordie, Sterlo, Johns, Thurston, Cowboys and just about every single Cowboys fan completely ignored.

If it went to the video ref, it would have been a penalty to us so perhaps it was best for the Cowboys that they decided to let it go..

They have done that all year, anyway. How often do you see penalties given for incidents going on in back play?

That's one area the refs have actually been consistent in.

Exactly, things go down behind the play every game.... I like Thurston, but he threw an elbow and got put on his arse. They were both having a bit if a wrestle and the ref ran in and said 'righto enough ' and that was that. Nothin suss ha!! I think Slater last night on TV mentioned how much niggle Blair plays with labelling him a pest... That's awesome!! I was a bit worried about how he was gonna go this year for us but he is turning out to be the enforcer we've been lacking.
