I think Milf is biding his time until the Cows pack are on the ropes then he can link up with Nikorima and explode. We need to be very careful about the Cows wet sail. The crowd needs to get behind us.

We can win this, we just need to score first in the next half.

Quality game, Cowboys weren't far off the pace. Under Griffin, they bury us in the second half.

So, we have a week off, then the winner between Chooks and Dogs at Suncorp?

Cowboys get winner of Sharks and Rabbitohs, then winner plays Melbourne?

Good chance of that. Roosters and Bulldogs will be torrid. I'd expect the Chooks to come out on top but hopefully it takes some wind out of their sails.

I'd back the Cowboys to win their next, but the Storm will be a stiff test for them. We ground them out in the end, and no one does that better than Melbourne.

It's a pretty fair point. Pretty much an indictment on Melbourne's style of play.

I think we can take whoever we get in two weeks time, but I'd rather face NQ again than Melbourne in the big one.

Not just for our chances, but also for the spectacle. A rematch of tonight with the bigger stakes would kick it to another level.

Mind you, it would be incredibly sweet to emphatically put an end to Melbourne's recent years of dominance.

Milford needs to get more involved, individually, and getting out into space. Against that Cowboys defence, I reckon Milf could have scored 3 tries if he had the room to run.

Please Ben, kick elsewhere than down the FB or winger's throat.

Gillett's was outstanding on the right edge.

Who would have predicted this early in the season. For mine, we are the best attacking and defensive team in the competition.

Fantastic result. The week off will do us good.

Hunt really needs to work on his game management and overall kicking. 3 or 4 times he failed to find touch near the end and it could have cost us. He has so much right in his game but i fear his kicking will stop him becoming a truly elite halfback.

Pretty impressed with Wallace and Joe tonight. They both stood up well.

If premierships are built on defence were right in the mix because the Cowboys were good tonight. Thurston is an absolute freak, hands down the best in the world... They had the run of that game and we kept them out time after time. Reed and Gillett were huge. If we had of won convincingly I would have questioned the fact that the Cows were 'off their game' but they weren't- we were just better. We took our opportunities and turned them into points. F@#k I'm excited now!!

Definitely the best finals game by far, I don't agree with Gould often but I absolutely agree with him about the style of football both team's play, I applaud both teams for putting out such an entertaining game. Man it's great to be back being final contenders and getting that monkey off our back.
