The Broncos might think that the same game style will tire the big forwards out and pay off later in games. A super fast game would make it a fatigue and skill contest with big slow moving forwards blowing hard. We shall see....best season for years !

I know it's only a small thing, and I've complained about it before, but I just want to bring it up again.
Milford needs to play the ball quicker, every time I watch him get tackled it looks like he's injured or just completely worn down, even if it's the first set of the game, I can't stand it, the amount of times we can get on the front foot from a quick play the ball is negated by his slowness off the ground. Case and point was in our first attacking set tonight at about the 3 minute mark, he got tackled on the 4th, was extremely slow getting up, dummy half pass was slow, and Hunt got off some shitty rushed kicked because of it, from memory.
For a guy of his speed and acceleration, surely he can put just a little bit more effort into trying to get our sets moving a bit faster?

So, perhaps I wasn't looking at him right.. But it looked like Oates had the wobbly legs after a tackle in the first half.. He couldn't stand up straight.
Was I looking at that right?
If so, Broncos could get in trouble for that. Once a player shows that, you have to take them off for a concussion test.

Yeah I saw that as well SF, wasn't 100% sure it was a concussion or not.

No way we played like shit, that was a very composed performance and typical of the preparation Bennett must have put them through.
Atmosphere at the game was underwhelming to say the least, guess everyone figured we'd be back again in two weeks :laugh:

I saw that too, but lots of guys get up slow(Milford)... He played alright minutes later... We should be fine. Dugan got knocked out cold apparently tonight but was running around moments later...

I've watched it twice and I'm celebrating!! Was a good win against a good side... Apart from a couple of errors we were pretty bloody good, my only concern is Boyd is still just doing the basics... He needs to step it up in attack and give our opposition another worry
