That was truly a brilliant bit of play from Nikorima on the big stage of finals footy. He doesn't look out of place at all and neither does Joe O.

That was the most impact I've seen from Ofa at NRL level so far. He always came in and did the job, but never really had any dominant runs.

I'm just so proud of this team. I don't know what else to say to be honest. Those highlights ( thanks SF) are just beautiful. Nikorima to milford was just superb I fucking love Nikorima, and then MILF getting embraced by the crowd.

One more effort in 2 weeks to reach the GF, and wouldn't it be great if after having no prelims in Sydney, both finalist were Qld teams?

Watched the Fox Sports replay in HD with Vossy commenting... great stuff. Absolutely drained from this game, much like the 2008 one, but what a different feeling this is. Still think there are a few things to fix, but there is no denying the absolute will and desire is there!

Great game. The speed of the game was intense.Hopefully we take that intensity into the Bulldogs/Roosters game. My missus was drinking during the game at home and she was wanting to talk about things not footy. We all know what that's like when your nervous and trying to focus on the game lol

I noticed that too. He didn't compete for the ball, but they've ruled on that before. I believe we had a quality long range effort disallowed not that long ago? Particular game eludes me though.

Phil Gould mentioned it ... But also said that he wasn't involved in the play.

What Gould didn't mention was that we are not playing soccer here. So it doesn't matter whether the offside player had any involvement in the play or not ... Under the rules it is still a penalty for offside.

Not that the refs last night cared about the rules... At one point the ref called Granville offside several times and when Hodges ran into him, no penalty was forthcoming.

Yeah I managed to see that from the far end of the stadium without my glasses on, but I guess it's too much to ask for the referees to actually rule on things which happen during the game.

I was a bit concerned about Wallace heading into this match, but I thought he really stood up, especially in defence.

Yep. Wallace was the goods this week. No Wallace penaltylast night for a change. Refs must be saving them up for our next game against a southern team.

The Cowboys were 2m offside when Oates spilled the ball in the tackle early in the second half which lead to their first try as well. The crowd was booing and the refs just let it go.
