Genuine all rounded can hold their place with both disciplines!

Wait to you see him being used by a good captain in the test side. Payne's captaincy has long been questionable but his use of Green against India was appalling, gave him very little chance to take a wicket.

Voges and Marsh use him exactly the same.

Really? You don't want a genuine all rounder to bowl?

Smith was once a bowling all-rounder, when’s the last time he bowled?

Watto was our last genuine all-rounder and was a better bowler than Green is.

I feel they’ll prioritise making him into a top bat first and foremost.

they’ll just find another bowler

They take him off as soon as a wicket falls at the other end do they? Of course they bowl him in short spells, they have had to do that under instruction. Paine took Green off every time a wicket fell at the other end, he got no chance to bowl at a new batsman.

Did you watch him bowl? He didn’t look very threatening. Honestly Labushagne is a better option if you just want to give the quicks a rest. He is far more threatening as a bowler than Green.

Lasagne is the all rounder.
Green is a batsman who can bowl a bit (atm because he’s being protected)
Smith occasionally bowls when Paine remembers he can bowl

Bulls 4/64

17 overs in.

Vics 2-55 at lunch following rain all morning.

Beest with two wickets, including Handscomb for a duck.

I’ll be surprised if there’s any result for this match with all this rain around

Fraser-McGurk - That was such a nothing shot. He looked so promising early on but he is struggling so badly now, he really should be dropped sadly.

Is this likely to also be abandoned due to all the rain?

Unless they built a roof on the redeveloped Ian Healy Oval then I don’t see much play happening.
