Queensland Cup 2012 Discussion

I'm not 100% sure Ning but I would doubt it, unless they put it on GEM down there or something.

Beads at first I was skeptical as well but I'm not sure how exactly it is a 'dumb move'? We still get the weekly live TV game, and it's now on a Sunday which leads perfectly into the NRL Sunday game, and it gives the competition greater exposure which can only be a good thing? The ABC coverage was very good but aside from a 20 second ad break and the change of timeslot I don't see any difference?

I just hope they retain the same commentary team.

Wouldn't be the same if they had a team like TK, Vautin & Lewis.

I see the positives Jeb but it is a one year deal and they have been with ABC for how long? Channel 9 will #### it up I can see it happening. How ridiculous is it that 9 will show Q cup live but have delayed coverage of the nrl

Will they be showing the Sunday game in NSW as well, do you know Jeb?

Wouldn't mind watching a few - I think Fox Sports used to show a match every week.

Yep will be shown live in NSW too. Ch 9 wanted an all Football Sunday from 11am to 6pm.

Wow, that's awesome. That will stick in the NSWRL's craw after all the bother with NSW clubs having QRL feeder clubs.

NSW based clubs have Sydney feeder clubs as well.

Who's the Broncos feeder club now? Just wondering

Gagai, Capewell & Slyney likely to come into that Dolphins line up

Disappointed you didn't make the starting side for Souths Logan, Matt? :cheesy:

Didn't realise Rod Jensen was still going around. Used to love watching him play back in the day, was such a live wire.

Anyone following the progress of the Broncos in the QCup here are some highlights of the Dolphins game vs Mackay.

Gagai, Slyney, Capewell & Whitchurch all involved heavily

Good to see Jacob Fauid hit some form after years in the wilderness after that groin injury. Had a good game for Wynnum.

Not the best choice for the TV match tomorrow.. two non-affiliate NRL clubs and easily the least appealing match-up of the round.
