Who knows if Toowoomba are going to come back. They were my team and i'm not going to watch another game unless its a final till the Clydesdales come back.

They're back this year. Mind you, just in Colts. I trust you'll be following them closely..

I just wish Easts were affiliated with the Broncos. I'll definitely be heading to any Saturday arvo games at Langlands Park

I have grandparents in Toowoomba and my grandad was a Rugby League maniac. When I would visit them my grandad would take me to Clydesdales matches and i adopted them quickly. I still follow them even though they dropped out becuase of financial issues.

Few fringe Broncos guys playing for Wynnum in a trial against Easts this afternoon at Langlands Park. Nat Barnes, Dan Wallace, Andrew Clayton and Troyden Watene (not sure if the last two are back on the Broncos books or not..)

Queensland Cup trial kicks off at 5pm.

How do you rate the Tigers this year mate? As always they look good on paper. Spence & Simpson in particular are big pick ups

Yeah, I'm honestly not sure how to rate them ahead of this season. There's been hype around the team for the past few years, I'm just hopeful that their footy will do the talking once the competition starts. Hard to get a gauge during trials too, big squads with unlimited interchange.

There were improved signs last night though. Wynnum had all the momentum ahead 22-16 in the second half. In the past, opposition teams would often skip out to an often insurmountable 2/3 try lead during that mid-second half period but the Tigers stuck with them and then fought back to draw it 22-all.

How are Redcliffe shaping up? Fairly big loss to Burleigh last night?

To be honest the trial form has been ordinary. Nothing to get excited about at all. However in the last couple of years the trial form has been very good and they have started the season proper with a flying start only to fade badly come the business end. So hopefully it may be the reverse this year.

There is plenty of talent & depth, just hope they can put it all together

Channel 9 have signed a 1 year agreement to show a live QLD Cup game every Sunday at 2pm. Should be good for exposure, and will be great to be able to watch a QCup game and an NRL game back to back on Sundays.

A negative though is there will be ads in the telecast unlike there was on ABC.

Will they be showing the Sunday game in NSW as well, do you know Jeb?

Wouldn't mind watching a few - I think Fox Sports used to show a match every week.
