The Hasting Deerings Colts kicks off this weekend. In accordance with the Jersey Flegg competition, it's now an U/21 competition giving all the players who missed out last year an opportunity to run around again.

For the Broncos representatives, we have Josh James at Souths Logan Magpies and Xavier Willison and Danny Heenan at the Norths Devils.

As an exercise, I decided to put together a Broncos U/21 side.

I'm unsure what happened to Myphala Ah Chong or Damon Sommerville who were contracted to Brisbane but I haven't seen their names pop up anywhere.

It goes to highlight how young the side is and while a Xavier Coates, Ethan Bullemor and a Jordan Riki may find themselves in the first grade team far too much is being expected of these younger players. With that said, that's a good group of players.
