Piakura scored a try he wouldn't have got 12 months ago, slow play the ball, Ahearn just shovels it on and Piakura takes it on and pushes over and gets the ball down with three off him.

Norths started slowly last night but found their rhythm and that's an alright tough win before finals.
Kennedy was good off the bench really got them moving in a simple and effective direction. 20 hit ups and 26 tackles.
Piakura scored two good tries- first one no way he scores last season. It was harder for him to make ground but he improved his defence from last week. Handling was poor.
Willison only played 25 minutes in two stints so hard to read.
