Re: Rd 26, Broncos vs Raiders - Build up thread

Yeah. My mum had lunch at the club yesterday and was watching them train and commented on the "lovely long legged aboriginal boy" that was running like the wind. It was Yow Yeh.

Is she going to write to the editor about that? ;)

Re: Rd 26, Broncos vs Raiders - Build up thread

No, she has more important issues to write about. Like Anna Bligh's book cooking.

God if the Broncos weren't my team I would have made a killing at the TAB this season.

Why are we always such short priced favourites in games where we are still really shaky. I wouldn't be suprised if this week the boys have lost a lot of motivation given that they've exceeded expectations already and made the finals, and also the Raiders giant forward pack will bully us around if we're not careful.

I totally agree...broncos were favourites in canberra also...why??.....i dont know why they are so short priced ...
still i think they have learnt their lesson since that 56-0 flogging ......they will be up for it ...
you would think they will be wanting to make up for that poor performance .its all good and well beating the other teams , but they need to make a statement and do a number on canberra IMO

Re: Rd 26, Broncos vs Raiders - Build up thread

Am absolutely hanging out for sunday nite... If anyone is catching the train into suncorp stadium from the northside I heard there is going 2 be track work this weekend so you might want to leave a bit earlier or check transinfo because some stations will have buses only

Re: Rd 26, Broncos vs Raiders - Build up thread

Perhaps an admin should stick the kick-off time in the thread title to remind people.

I'm hoping the boys realise the importance of a good performance tomorrow.

We really need to keep the momentum going into the finals.

itll be a replay of the Knights game from 07.
