Utility David Stagg, who also has an option in his favour, has yet to settle on his whereabouts for next season. He is weighing up an offer in England, but his manager Col Davis said it was increasingly likely Stagg would remain a Bronco.
"Things can change but if I was a betting man I would expect to see David in Brisbane colours next year," Davis said.

THE NRL will push on with plans to increase the salary cap next season despite the gloomy financial forecast for Sydney-based clubs.

NRL chief executive David Gallop said the league was committed to a $100,000 increase for 2009 in line with the collective bargaining agreement.
