Anderson's form has been down, much like his team at the moment. He's been very flat.
Ese'ese was 18th man last week and is getting ready to play NRL.
Arrow has been exceptional for Norths.
Greinke is perfect for this period, playing well, low maintenance, good leader.
Opacic has been good- Reddy's leading try scorer- good game last week.
Seve- been up and down even within games.
No 20's player is ready for NRL.
Fai- hasn't played enough minutes to show enough.

Best chances: Ese'ese, Arrow and Greinke. Seve in the mix if a back is needed.

Why did Lockyer who is a selector leave him out of his predicted team for game one a few weeks ago? Because they always go the loyalty route. I agree McGuire should be picked but it is unlikely for game one.

I'm pretty sure the selectors for the national team are not the same as the state team, so basically no, but that's not to say that they wouldn't ask for his opinion if they're making a 50/50 call.

Hopefully our contingent for the Anzac Test isn't large. I get the feeling it's gonna be a brutal match and given recent results it's the biggest Anzac match I can recall.

I can really only see Boyd, Parker & Gillett getting picked. McGuire is a smokey but I think they will name others in front of him. Thaiday is no chance
