Seriously? I thought for sure I would have told you that. Oh, well I was at uni with Ribot's son Justin and we were pretty good mates and did a lot of our assignments together which actually evolved into us working on some of the Super League stuff and then we were able to use it as our assignments. We didn't get to do all the juicy stuff, but still knew pretty much everything that was going on. Finished uni at the end of 1995 but still did some work with them until the bitter end. It was pretty cool and exactly when John Ribot became my first mentor (and somewhat of a hero). Pity I've lost touch with them over the years.

QRL managing director Ross Livermore said Fitzgerald should get on with matters that need attention in Sydney rather than worrying about what Queensland did.
