Roberts contrary conduct

I wish we had contested Roberts charge. I have no doubt that they would have found Roberts guilty, but it would have shone an even brighter spotlight on the hypocrisy within the NRL

No fucking way, Klemmer actually pushed the ref and Roberts gets stung for a pat on the back(chest)... Seems we erred not contesting this one

The problem is they don't care, and neither do the parochial mugs following their own agend.....I mean, following the sport, who like to call themselves 'sports journalists'. Blatant bullshit once again. Why do we all keep expecting something else when time and time again the Review Committee and judiciary prove their anti-Bronco bias? Then again, what does the club have to do to ensure fair treatment?

Pack of thieving fucking *****.

So Klemmer was just found not guilty... What a ****ing disgrace

this stinks of favours for the nsw based clubs yet again, and heavy weight pressure from the bulldogs (as per usual) im not surprised to be honest!!!
greenturd is still linked heavily with the dogs, also that she man river troll looking creature c.e.o of the dogs has serious weight at the nrl too.

Klemmer was always going to contest it for sure (the dogs always do). I'm afraid we were rather silly not to contest the charge. Y ou can't compare an uncontested charge vs contested.

I'd bet my first born that Roberts would have gotten done for it.

"The panel of Paul Whatuira, Don McKinnon and Bob Lidner deliberated for nine minutes, before agreeing with the defence counsel that Klemmer's actions were not in fact illegal.
The Judiciary Counsel had argued that Klemmer's actions weren't in the spirit of the game, as the onus was on players to avoid contact with match officials. However the four man panel agreed with Klemmer's defence team that the contact on referee Ben Cummins was "momentary and innocuous", and that the Canterbury forward had been trying to quell tensions between teammate Tim Browne and Penrith's Jamie Soward, with no intention of touching referee Ben Cummins. "

So it's black and white. Don't touch a ref, ever. Unless it's momentary and innocuous. Fuckwits!

Why didn't Raelene Castle come out with him and say "Keep crying Queensland"? Absolutely ridiculous. Roberts should have his charge wiped.

I have no problem with the no touching the ref rule, but it is beyond me how Roberts and Clemmer get nabbed for it yet Moses, Soward, Merrin all have no case to answer. Moses even pushed the ref out of the way to get to scrum, Soward basically barged into the ref.

The whole system is completely lacking in any level of common sense or consistency whatsoever.

Absolutely, how an organisation who claims to be as professional as the NRL can be so completely amateurish is beyond me. I just completely wish we had the AFL administration running our game and not the current bogans who do so.

We got Hodgo to the GF last year.

I think we owe the judiciary Gods a few thousand favours.

Bullshit. That was them repaying some of the favours they owe us for shitty judiciary results over the years because they know Qld would have marched on Sydney if they rubbed him out.
