Kim Jong Il. Who knows? They were saying he was (and has been replaced by a double) but North Korea is saying he's just a bit ill at the moment.

I think the Cochroach is just going a new body, he hasn't killed Hans Brix yet!

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

All in all our defence was good but by god, we need to improve the effectiveness of our tackles. I said it before, far far too many offloads being allowed.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

Really good win, but great defence? Yeah - in the last 30 minutes. We have to do it for 80.

Against the top 3, we have to move up as one quickly and really HIT rather than wait for the attack to come.

And as for K, when oh when is he going to learn that running straight into monsters is a sure-fire way to get really hurt.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

Sims went well I thought, had some good runs early when the forwards were getting bashed.

And yeah Hunt is a worry.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

How good were Hannant and Eastwood? They really stood up after Clinton got concussed. Great to see.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

Shheeeet yeah!

Really proud of the boys tonight. They copped it early, toughed it out and then went to work in the second half. Can't ask for much more in such a physical encounter.

lmfao ...!

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

Tonight's victory is yet another chapter in the Broncos' log book of Amazing Stories ...

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

Phil Gould should be officially banned from calling Rooter games, he is a disgrace with his biased call. I have no problem with him after the game or at halftime but not during [icon_non [icon_non

Fabulous effort by the boys in a tough tough finals clash. We had no rub of the green in the first half and struggled, but luckily we were still in touch and when things turned in our favour in the 2nd half we were able to capitalise. A great allround effort by the whole side not prepared to single anyone out.

Hunt please learn to vary your kick returns, welcome back Wally back to your best.

Bring it on next week whoever wants to challenge us, and lets pack out Scumcorp stadium [eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi

Ah let the "pig dog" continue to bark ... it only makes us yell at the tv louder when Brisbane beats them, what, 8 of the last 9 times now ...?!

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

One more comment from me: WTF are you Sydney. 18k for a Sydney vs Brisbane final at the SFS? Pathetic.

Absoultely - and let the fans cheer particularly when we see the Broncos right up in the face of the opposition.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

I agree, the crowd was terrible for a final. How can the NRL keep arguing against forcing a reduction in Sydney teams? :(

Well done Broncs.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

I'd also like to give special mention to Stagg, he really lifted the team when he came off the bench.

During every stoppage you could see him in the background clapping his hands and geeing the boys up.

Re: Roosters Vs. Broncos *SPOILER*

That 06' experience will prove a real bonus for Brisbane in this finals series ... when you're in big games like these and you know in the back of your mind you've come back from 6-20 down (the prelim final against the Bulldogs) and taken Melbourne's best shot in the grand final, that's almost like having two extra players on the field imo ...
