This is going to sound a bit weird, but i dont think anyone was outstanding for us. I'd describe the whole team ( apart from Cobbo ) as rock solid. I dont think even the likes of Payne and Carrigan put in the kind of monster displays we see from them. They were just disciplined, did their jobs and thats the kind of thing that will see us finish top four. Early days, but we just looked calm and composed under pressure across the board. Apart from Cobbo.

I think you’re being harsh on Cobbo to be honest. He’s not a fullback, pissing down rain, up against Cleary’s kicking game. Plenty of dumb errors but he kept bouncing back. I’m proud of his efforts

Probably our best game in years. Defence was great. Everyone did their job. Cobbo was far from perfect but he did enough. Handled the highball well.

Kev picked the right team and his bench usage was pretty close to perfect tonight. Well done Kev

Luai looks lost without Kikau next to him.
