Staggs is still a problem. Did some good things in defence but no where near enough hard runs. Somehow goes down with bad cramps too. Looking a bit overweight to me.

I think you’re being harsh on Cobbo to be honest. He’s not a fullback, pissing down rain, up against Cleary’s kicking game. Plenty of dumb errors but he kept bouncing back. I’m proud of his efforts

His effort is fine, i just think he put us into trouble with very basic errors you learn you shouldnt be doing from when you start playing. His general play wasnt poor, but its those errors that i'd mark him down for.

he probably cant do what he does though without tired defense.

best thing about him was how quick he is off the mark. plays a bit like granville at his best

sorry mate can’t agree, Cobbo has looked like a reserve grader (and not a particularly good one) for most of his career and ESPECIALLY tonight. He was woeful.

I'm usually tough on Billy Walters, but outside of letting in the Luke try, I thought he was very good. Still indecisive at times, but that went in our favour and set up the Mam line break for the Herbie try

Every player did well, Oates took a lot of shit hit ups should be forgiven for his errors.

Cobbo just has a habit of taking on a sliding defensive line, he gets bundled into touch so much. Between all of that though, you can see there's an elite player there somewhere.
