Watching the Broncos play, they didn't put much, if any, prep in to the field being smaller. And in context of the season, why would you? A one-off game that's going to be compromised in so many other ways, it would be silly to alter their pre-season in any way.

Get through the game and start the real season from Round 2 onwards.

Also, shock & horror at the thought of a Panther, now Rooster, thinking they can get away with anything they want because their shit don't stink.

Should be a minimum of 12 weeks but will probably get 6. I understand that it's the heat of the moment and things can be said without thought. But there are so many other words he could have used such as "shitface", "asshole" or "wanker".

If the NRL are serious about stamping out racism in sport, then a 12+ week suspension and a huge fine is one giant way to send a message.

And not forgetting that had the in goal area been same as in most Nrl grounds around Aus, Arthars would have scored.
It was a shithouse performance in many ways but defence was pretty good.

If Patty ran into the hole inside instead of trying to run an out line and catch the pass on the outside it would have been an inside shoulder run at Manu . And a very very very fine pass . But just details ...

No. It was a lofty slow lollipop of a pass that was waiting to be intercepted. Regardless of the line carrigan ran. It was a shit pass

Also apparently Payno heard exactly what he said to Mam on the field. Why wasnt he taking that ****'s head off. Nobody at the Broncos is going to be critical of him for that.

The field they train on at Red Hill is smaller than an NRL field apparently .

Payne did go after Roosters players again after they had been seperated .
I thought it was out of character for him . Then ,,, came the allegation . And I understood .

Run inside Manu where the ball was passed to and he can`t intercept it . Simple .
Patty changed direction at the last moment trying to put a move on Manu and it back fired .

It also looked to me like Patty’s line threw Mam off and he tried to stop the pass but was too late.

Didnt go after him enough. Just grabbing him isnt what i'd call going after him. Somebody should have laid him out after it came out what he said.
