I don't think any of our players have enough mongrel in them to get square with an opposition player..... Flegs maybe had a bit of the redhead in him, but he's gone.

As for Payne.....he's a pea heart, unless you're a halfback stepping on his white shoes.

We have a team of nice guys........ no-one is an enforcer or an intimidator.....or an old school hard **** that likes to punch on.

Thats the result of the one punch and you're off rule.....yay for all the Mum's out there. 🙄

According o the daily telegraph NRL podcast a Roosters player reached out to Mam to apologise on behalf of the team. I was going to say that is admirable if true but if Leniu is still chriping and they aren't stopping him they can **** there apology right off.

Not by much, length is the same at 100m post to post, but very marginally narrower at 66m, not NFL narrower. But chuck in the optical illusions the stadium, roof lines and much brighter lights it all adds up.

Yeah and when they do that and are suspended for half the season people are saying show some control.

Being fair, if he's just being an arsehole about it not a lot his team mates can do. Up to his club now to take a stand on it.

We dont really. As i said previously, swap Tallis for Payne or Carrigan or Staggs in the same situation and Leniu is in a world of hurt. No way some of our teams of the past would have let that slide. He would have been smashed when it happened, and smashed in the game as well.

When was the last time something like you are describing happened ?
Different generation . The old Magpies v Sea Eagles days are but a memory .
 
I'm all for the Broncos raising a huge banner for the players to run out under in round 8. Something like " Racism is not part of our fun and games" . Make sure the banner stays up until the rorters have entered the field too. Might educate their captain as well.

I dont recall an racist comments on field since that other grub Peptide Paul did it years ago. Maybe you have some examples, i cant think of any. So that makes it kind of difficult to give you an example, i just know if it happened with some other groups of players it would have been on for young and old.

Make the Roosters run through the same banner but this time it is sealed with superglue.

I think Patty saw Manu turn his hip and thought he`s turned in , I`ll beat him on the outside .
So at the last moment changed line and Manu who was already turned in said thankyou very fcking much .
Now I see this freeze frame Ezra probably should have hung onto the ball . Piakura might have been on Ezra`s hip to take the pass , but Patty out of position wasn`t .

The field dimensions aren't an excuse. Dunno why the field being slightly shorter than usual would mean Reynolds' bombs are landing 30m short of their target, and why the Roosters didn't have that problem. We were just really poor in attack, and OK in defence.
 
The people saying Cobbo is unfit , disinterested ??
In the lead up to Pauga`s try Cobbo moves in near the posts as cover / support for Walsh who is flying for a catch on a bomb . Walsh misses it . Roosters ball to their left side . Cobbo comes across to right centre and works in cover .
Then runs all the way back to the other side of the field and communicates with Arthars to number up on Manu who throws a hail mary pass that comes off for a try . He tried another flick later that went over the sidelne . But that one will be forgoten.
 
Walsh probably having a couple of weeks off now. **** Vegas.
