Leniu has had his chance to apologize.
After the game when he did a interview he could of done it publicly or when the players shake hands, the 2 teams shared a hotel but instead of apologizing to Ezra he went at him again, the 2 teams shared a small plane ride.
This face to face apology would be so Spencer can try intimidate Ezra to drop the complaint and to make Spencer look like a good person that shows remorse so he gets a lesser charge.

I don't get the all insults are equal as one poster stated. That's a bit like saying all crimes are equal, because it's a crime..

He did the right thing by pleading guilty. He would have been a pariah otherwise. A number of people heard it. Everyone within the immediate NRL knew it. Lying about it would have been a massive character fail. I don't think his credibility would have recovered.

I may have missed it but I don't think anyone said all insults are equal, although I think I may have been misinterpreted as saying that. It's not that they are equal but that they are all wrong.
Crimes, as you state, are a perfect example. Shoplifting is a crime. Murder is a crime. Both are wrong and should not be done. Simple as that. But do they deserve the same penalty? Of course not!
Likewise, abusing, denigrating, bullying, harassing, intimidating etc someone with words is wrong. You cannot vilify another person because of their race, gender, sexuality, religious beliefs or physical characteristics. You simply can't. But like the crime example, different things require different penalties.
No sane person would suggest that calling someone a fat pig should receive the same penalty as calling someone a monkey. Equally, no sane person should suggest that calling someone a fat pig is totally fine. They are both clearly and obviously wrong, but they are not equal.

Good on Latrell for identifying racism almost correctly, but then writing "don't dilute the longest living culture in the world", which is something a racist supremacist might say.

My thoughts on the game were:
Broncos should have done no tourism there. Kevvie should have told them to be focused entirely on winning and starting strong and that he would bring them all back for a proper visit at end of season.
The field was too thin for our sweep plays and Roosters were the only team working the ball straight up the middle. This was a coaching error and poor captaincy.
Piakura didn't look concussed to me, but they pulled him. We shouldn't have shifted Patty to fill that gap, because the middle was the problem and sliding defense was super easy on that thin field. Dumb decision.

We need to be dangerous everywhere, not just speedy working the outside. Forwards need to be willing to work the middle and get quick PTBs. That is the game now. Speed. It's touch footy with heavy contact.
