Sorry mate, it's a big train which until recently didn't have many on it... I mustn't have seen you in the back carriages :)

Haha! You should have known mate, we do have similar taste in players after all... Alex Glenn for instance. Women too... Anna Kendrick.

Oh shit, I forgot I changed my avatar, then when my post just came up, I scared myself a little. Dale is intimidating, man.

I don't think it is his input that has helped, it is the fitness of the team and the willingness to play for each other.

Our scrambling defence was good but the dogs still made huge metres. We won't be able to hold out better sides defending like we did last night.

Agreed, fitness wise we definitely held up better especially off our line, but we are still getting caught too easy not shutting down the offloads, easy metres up the middle from poor defensive positioning and general lazyness etc

To be honest I think the would have done that in a earlier stage of the game, but were just to tied at that time.

Bullshit, that should have been inspirational to them and really pumped them up IF they were in the right place mentally.

At no stage during that game did the Broncos actually play like or believe they could win. And that is absolute evidence of that.

Finucane's dropped ball over the line was the set before. I think they had resigned themselves to a loss and were just stunnded that someone came up with the big play.

It said a huge amount about where they are at mentally, which was very concerning.

Yeah i thought the same thing, they had a defeatist look about them. Dogs certainly didn't take their chances.

Our defence still needs work I thought Canterbury made some very easy meters through the middle at times.

thought we played quite well in the main, a lot of heart displayed ... very happy for the boys

agree with most in this thread - thought Glenn, Macca, Copley, Hannant, Vidot were all good

can't help but think that was 10th vs 11th and our attack and kicking game weren't the best

there has to be a mature 5/8 who is an organiser, solid defensively and has a decent kicking game somewhere in the Qld Cup ... Shane Perry type but a 5/8 ... get him because Hunt needs help even with the kicking game

Oink !

Exactly my thoughts with regards to 5/8th, I wish either Shane Perry was a lot younger when he joined the club or we had a young version of him right now, he would bring more direction to the side, that's why I despise Hoffman at 5/8th, he provides absolutely nothing there from an attacking perspect, too much then falls into Hunt and Barba's hands.

And to think Hook wanted a ball playing fullback last year so we had 3 ball players. Now we are in the same predicament

I believe these were two great scoring opportunities that Hoffman bombed as a result of holding onto the ball.

Broncos may not have scored, but they were very good chances.

Maybe people disagree with me, but that's just the way I see it. I am more open to Hoffman and Barba switching during the game. Barba to take more control in attack and Hoffman just defends.
