Great.

That brings his total to 19 from 41. Less than 50%.
Pretty sure that's still better than any others in the team (who played for us last year too and are here again😁)

Anyway, it was just a funny stat for this year.

There’s a difference between being happy and arrogant. We have a game next week that we have to show up to pull off another victory and you guys are running round talking about our round 14 fixture against the Raiders capping off a 7 game winning streak. We can be happy but being in the 8 right now doesn’t mean shit if we become complacent and end the season outside of it. What happened last time you geniuses talked about an inevitable winning streak. We lost the next 4 straight which featured the Cows and Warriors.

So we (the fans) can't be excited and throw up some scenarios of a few wins in a row because they (the players) might become overconfident and complacent because we (the fans) are speculating?

For me it’s more about expectations... in one instance there are fans anticipating 7 wins in a row, but when we lose the sack Kev thread is up and running again.

people just need to keep their expectations in check and be able to cope with the highs and lows accordingly

It's a forum though, it's what we do, we swing like Chris Martin in a test for NZ. We hit nothing but we sure make a noise while trying.

I doubt anyone REALLY expects to get 7 in a row with ease but there is a possibility, so what's wrong with getting excited?

Are you suggesting there is a relationship between these things?

Is the problem people talking about it or you reading about it?

It is a forum so you should also expect people to get annoyed at the flippancy of a fan base to fluctuate between emotions.

A community is built from all sorts so we can’t expect or want BHQ to become an echo chamber 🙃🙃🙃

I watched a replay of the souths game. Although our line speed in the middle and on the right was much better, our left side was still quite poor. Gamble and herbie would take a few steps up and then stop. If the ball went wide they would then retreat and slide which incurred big metres.

If this doesn't improve, DCE and turbo could have a field day On that side

Yeah herbie gets too close to gamble in defence. Needs to stay out a bit further. Gamble is actually a decent defender and even if he misses a tackle, usually slows them down enough for support to come.

DCE is in some really good from and Staggs and Reynolds should be up quickly and stop him. Turbo should have someone from either side watch him and move up on him to stop him from getting early ball.

Are we back to doom and gloom then?

It's a scenario wherein my boy RK missing out isn't awful!

Just pointing out here we've won 4 out of 5 when he plays😉😃😃😃
I'm rather enjoying Kennedy's surge in form, and I know that you rate him quite highly, but realistically what's your pecking order with our prop rotation when everyone is in top form? What's your opinion on Jensen and Palasia? Those two are also exactly the type of player you love. Good, honest, no nonsense hardworking front rowers that are also cheap. Are they also getting any of the infamous @Huge love and affection?

Why is magic round always an away game for us? What's that about? We are hosting every single team at our stadium, but we get relegated to the away dressing room. That's BS. This is our turf, give us back our home dressing room. Why does an away team get the royal treatment when playing against us, at our own damn stadium. Wtf NRL you corrupt pricks.

You’re complaining that we get gifted what is essentially an additional home game at Suncorp ?
