Why is magic round always an away game for us? What's that about? We are hosting every single team at our stadium, but we get relegated to the away dressing room. That's BS. This is our turf, give us back our home dressing room. Why does an away team get the royal treatment when playing against us, at our own damn stadium. Wtf NRL you corrupt pricks.

At a guess I would say it is because if it was a home it would complicate broncos season ticket arrangements.
The broncos would have to bump up season ticket prices because there would be at least 1 extra game whatever day that was played so the NRL would want extra money for that.
It would also mean season ticket holders who wanted to go every day at magic round would have to buy tickets for the other 2 days separately and couldn't take advantage the 3 day package deal.
All in all it just makes it a bit simpler.
I don't mind because I can get to see the broncos play 13 games at suncorp instead of 12. It doesn't really matter to me if one of them is notionally an 'away' game.

I think it's mainly because of season ticket holders.

Giving all the Broncos season ticket holders a ticket to the Broncos game in magic round would probably throw things all out of whack.

Plus they can make extra money by selling tickets to the season ticket holders

It started as a deal between manly and suncorp so they could put on a double header. manly benefited financially to take a "home" game to suncorp so they get the home dressing room. No issue with me. Our guys get to run out in front of manlys rent-a-crowd.

I'm rather enjoying Kennedy's surge in form, and I know that you rate him quite highly, but realistically what's your pecking order with our prop rotation when everyone is in top form? What's your opinion on Jensen and Palasia? Those two are also exactly the type of player you love. Good, honest, no nonsense hardworking front rowers that are also cheap. Are they also getting any of the infamous @Huge love and affection?

I have already stated my opinion on RK. I don’t rate him highly! I've consistently stated he is a capable, moderately talented honest hard working forward. What annoyed me is the lies. Things like he makes mistakes at levels way above others or is lazy.

With Jensen's recent form and the better quality work from Flegler he's in a fight for a bench spot with the other lesser lights. I can see an argument for Palasia in front of him but Palasia has been up and down, inconsistent with his performances. In a fully fit, in form team RK is 18th man.

If posters want to lie about or misrepresent any of our players ( actually any player) then I'll counter those claims. I just believe in fair treatment and honesty. Besides, most if not all of the detractors aren't fit to tie the shoelaces of their targets.

I felt like looking it up and it was rounds 6 through 11 inclusive back in 2017, which incidentally included this:

I have been putting some serious work in on my shoe tying fitness, it is getting up there now, almost 10 minutes.
