So why was he binned??

Klown said shoulder charge with contact to the head... or was it more... "shoulder charge to Teddy and he had a lie down that's 10 in the bin for tackling too hard"
He actually said "Head to head contact, that's dangerous". So he got sent for a head clash caused by him leaving the ground. I don't really recall 100% but I think the same didn't occur for us when Reece got leveled against the Panthers and literally got a fractured/split open face.

I said the Roosters was our biggest game of the year and it was. It changed our season and put us in a fairly dire position. While exposing a lot of our weaknesses. But it just so happens to now make this game our most important game of the season as it will define our season going forward.

The guys who take the field this week have a chance to correct the course and make a statement that the Broncos are not going to roll over. I am sure Kev is hammering basic footy and it's exactly what this side needs to do. Go back to basics, run hard, hit hard and earn the right to play footy. We have the talent and the players to make a solid go of whats left of the year.

Carrigan said in the presser that we " will see what we are made of" or something along those lines. It's exactly right, through adversity you can build something special as easily as you can go off the rails. The boys could build some grit in the next three months. They can potentially turn the tide and set themselves up for future success. There is a lot of season yet to be played.

This is probably where the season really starts for us.
The first 9 rounds we've played some pretty ordinary footy and shown glimpses of what we can do. We've blown some teams away even when we played poor but against good opposition playing poor isn't going to get us a win as we seen against the Roosters.
We have to take alot away from that game and know we can do alot better.
The Reynolds injury is no excuse moving forward, we know he's out for a period of time and everyone needs to step up and play mature footy and not be just waiting for him to come back into the side.
Last week I believe/hope is the turning point and wake up call this side needed.

Here are the team tips from Fox Sports:

Team Tips: Skipper Adam Reynolds is sidelined for 12-14 weeks with a torn bicep and his likely long-term replacement, Jock Madden, is also set to miss Friday’s game with a pectoral injury. That opens the door for one-game rookie Josh Rogers, who plays reserve grade for Wynnum-Manly, to deputise for the experienced halfback. Elsewhere, Jesse Arthars will miss six weeks with a fractured jaw, with Jordan Pereira, who only played one game in 2023, his likely replacement.

Why is Pereira the replacement, wouldn't it be Oates?

Not sure, they usually get their information from other News Ltd sources.

The CM said that Pereira (and Black) trained with the team on Monday, but also specified that Black can't play until July when he turns 18.

So who knows? 4pm will reveal all

Listening to the radio yesterday and they crossed to training. Apparently this is exactly what was going on. Not doing anything flashy, just solid basic footy.

Rogers plays for the Bears.

The courier mail (Craddock) also said that Lee Briers could be heard telling the squad to slow things down as they rehearsed scrum moves.
