Mariners turned into one of the best wingers in the comp in 12 months and that's what might keep him on the wing.

It looked like they were keen to get him into centre when Shiba was dropped to the extended vs Dolphins, but then Anderson gets injured same game and it's just been injuries ever since.

Kotoni is 28 this year and Nio is like 19... Deine is 23 this year and only really started getting it all together last year... a few years on the wing for Nio won't hurt him... and Mariner's favoured spot is right centre.

Id say Hunt is in because of how inexperienced the line up is.

Duffy has impressed me greatly so far, so i am disappointed hes not in.

We just need to get the ball to Walsh, dont need Hunt mucking around with it.

Physios, doctors and Hunt himself have all cleared Hunt to play.

In that case you 100% bring him back in.

Besides the Courier Mail article said he was expected back for next week's Magic Round anyway, so he's not coming back massively early

Paix can most likely get through the full 80 minutes anyway, but yeah, Duffy would be the backup 7 in case Hunt has to go 9 for Paix if he has a spell.

Definitely more of an interchange efficiency choice, considering we'd have to interchange less in that situation. 1 interchange compared to 2.

Our interchange really ****ed us last game too. But having Semu, PRiki and Aublix on bench means we aren't short on size if X has to go off for a rest. Because I'd assume we'd use two of our bench forwards to rotate X, JGos and Talty. Leaving us 1 spare injury interchange.
