Unfortunately until we have GENUINE halfback I expect a similar performance here as we’ve seen the last 9 weeks. Blokes switching positions 2,3 and 4 times a game and very unstructured footy. We’ve just gotta do what we can with the troops we have... give the ball to Oates and tpj and hope for the best!

Assuming Haas didn't **** his leg when he landed on top of it concussed, I'd run with the same 17.

But I'd put Nikorima back to 7, and put Bird on the bench, or replace him with Kahu if he's fit and Bird doesn't spark up at training.

Bird needs some time in reserve grade. If Hunt deserved to cop it last year, Bird sure as hell does. Either he picks up his form playing ISC and that's swell or he doesn't, whereby his contract has a date with the shredder and we are left to ponder what it is our recruitment and retention people get paid to do, exactly.

I’m hoping Kahu is back we need a ball playing centre and need to drop Opacic,

Kahu needs to stay away from centre for the rest of his career.

He can go on the wing, Isaako can play at centre. I'm not a fan of Isaako at centre, but I'm also not a fan of playing with a reduced bench because Kahu got injured playing in the centres.
