Being a muso you'd think I'd have noticed the giant Donald Trump hairdo harp thingy ! Doubt they'd let me into the penthouse but I did try to buy it! They told me with a laugh that that ship had long sailed!

Back on topic I still think the carry over from winning again will be a factor and I believe the Broncos believe the season isn't dead. We have a fantastic run after the Tigpies and are expected to lose the next 4 games, Melbourne, Sharks, Rabbits and Raiders. Brilliant.

Wouldn't want it any other way. Every single game with no expectations and nothing to lose, it just doesn't set up any better than that. After that St George, Roosters, Panthers and Parra. Nothing to fear but fear itself. I so much prefer that to an easy run. It's all upside for mine.

I think Flegler could have been dropped BUT I also understand giving him another chance. Aside from his handling woes last game he went hard and there was still plenty to like. Hard to imagine 12 months ago if someone had told me Oates and Te'o would be our starting second rowers!! Credit to Te'o because every week he looks slimmer and fitter and I don't doubt he still has the ability.

Seibold on Fifita's injury. He's been cleared to run, but:

“We still don’t have a set date of when he will be back. I’d say Dave is still a few weeks away. The medical staff want Dave to jump through a few hoops before he is cleared. He is still doing his rehab, but he isn’t doing his skills, so he won’t play this week and by the looks of it, he won’t play next week either against the Storm.”

Considering the outs we have and the win last week, this is probably as good of a team as you could name.

2 middle forwards on the bench, and a 2nd rower makes me optimistic that Seibs might get the rotation right again.
