I'm pretty sure those myths were dispelled long ago
Possibly a myth but I doubt it. Souths didn't sign him to an extended contract for those very reasons. He is a small 32 yo (almost) HB who has played at the top level for 10+ years in the most physical sport in the world. He is obviously going to be suffering from some wear and tear.

But that's not unlike many players in the comp. Most play with some sort of soreness. It's the nature of the game. But like I said before, he is as tough as they come and seems to manage his ailments really well.

Watch 2015 semi final replay vs roosters if you want a good trip down memory lane. The week after doesn't exist
I will always remember this.
My wife and I were travelling through Europe at the time.
That particular day we were taking the bus from Slovenia to Zagreb, there were delays because of the refugee crisis and all I could think about was getting to our hotel on time so I could see the semi (yep first world problems).
There was then a delay in getting into our our room, by this time I was anxious, my wife pretended to be pregnant, we were able to get into another suite, I was able to watch the semi and all was right with the world 🤣
What a great game too.

Point is, he should have been taken off much earlier. I thought at the time it was insane to keep him out there when he should be managed.

Agreed - this was so stupid by Kevvie. There was absolutely no reason to leave him out there. The game was over and there was no reward and all risk from having him continue.

If anything, with the team so hot and firing, it would have been the perfect time to let the boys keep rolling and see that they can do it even without Reynolds.

I would have rather play the last 10/15 with 12 men than risk Reynolds getting hurt.

Just saying, if the Captains Challenge existed in 2015, that would be a knock back. We've seen a couple this year where it was initially knocked forward but then knocked back before it hit the ground and the video ref ruled it as a knock back.

Souths also didn't sign Gagai to an extended contract.

They don't sign anyone over 30 to extended contracts anymore thanks to the GI and Burgess debacles

You swear at people who say there’s 100% chance water is wet? What’s the problem - its fact
Yes, water is wet is a fact.

It is also a fact that the Broncos very often drop games that they should/are expected to win (I.e. warriors).

God himself could not prevent us from winning this game.

Mate, even Patty is already talking about 6 in a row and you’re still caught up on win 5.

Wins against the Knights and Titans will take us nicely into a much-needed little break for bye round before Origin.

Six straight would be awesome for the fans because it’s a different feeling around Brissy to previous years when we’ve gone through rough patches”
