He did a good job on both fronts.

We are a mess and we will continue to be a mess, there's no easy answers here. It's obvious as shit though that we are better than we were last year and that's all you can ask for as a fan, is some progress. If you expect miracles and for us to be challenging for the comp in the next year or 2, go watch the Lions. They're going good.

I think people have really fooled themselves into thinking this team is good. I had conned myself into thinking we had turned a corner, but last week was the nail in the coffin for me. We are dog shit, we may have individual talent in areas but we have zero footy IQ out there. Like take the Refs the Rules and everything out of that game and we still get flogged. We need to clean this joint out, the only guy who is 100% a must keep is Haas. Obviously there are others I want to keep such as TpJ and Herbie but we need to see a vastly different team next year, The Spine is a complete scrap, our outside backs are a scrap for sure. Our forward pack has to much money in it so will need some hedging.

It's an easy out pointing the finger at the coach. Our RnR sucks and this team sucks as a team. I watched some games from the back end of Waynes first stint , late early 2000's and we had Stagg at 5/8 and could still score points all over the park, We had legit strike power and lead the league in tries from long distance, we were the current Storm. It is just pathetic what we have become.

I'm looking forward to this game because we get to see whatever this weeks interpretation of the rules will be. Instead of being lab test animals( poor things) we see others dealing with the unknown. My guess is we'll see very very few sinbins and plenty of reports. There may even be action on rorting the replacement rules.

Still, it's anyone's guess.

Swap Kelly for Reynolds and we still have the same number of NSW players in the run on side. Next year we may have Reynolds and Staggs as halves. Cowbros will have Townsend and Drinkwater. Good times for QRL.

I don't really mean NSW players, I meant the weekly swapping reminds me of when NSW changed their halves every single game for a number of years.

Wouldn't be that cocky. The Roosters aren't that bad, even with so many players out. But granted Kelly will make all the difference.
