That's one way of looking at it, and yes, it seems to be Kevvie's way. But at what cost? A "few more weeks" ? Few is 2. I'm happy with that under the circumstances. I guess what I am saying is that I have some concerns given our position on the table at Rd 10, given whom we have beaten, and the way the better teams have flogged us, then, it might be very much the case that the trade off for Kevvie's experiments result in a consecutive spoon.

You might want to get used to it because this halves combo is unlikely to last more than a couple of weeks when Staggs returns. Kevvie will want to run Kotoni through the wringer ASAP. If he doesn't work out, Kevvie will have to hit the market for a 5/8th, because none of this lot are going to cut it.

He'll also be giving Tass, Piakura, Robati and probably Cobbo a run sometime soon. If Hetherington fails to impress, maybe Paix will get another shot. Niu won't be coming back if he's been watching the ISC.

Fair enough I suppose but going well is only one rung below going fantastic. It's hardly derogatory and I didn't say Isaako or Kennedy were going fantastic and TPJ 'only' going well. I think you're just looking for something to be offended by. Mountain out of molehill type stuff. TPJ is going the best out of everyone and I'm not saying he isn't.

Not offended, more surprised you highlighted the other three specifically at the start and basically mentioned TPJ in passing, when I'd suggest he's stood up more than probably anyone else in our squad this year.

I honestly have 0 Faith in Kevvie, he was arguably the worst ever QLD Coach and tbh I think he will go down in the same ilk as Ivan Henjak and Anthony Seibold for us. The guy is a babboon to be completely honest. He only got the job becasue he had to fail for the next coach to be given a real chance.

Walters came within the last 20 seconds of Game 3 of winning his last series as Coach. This is despite NSW having a vastly, vastly superior side and Queensland resorting to guys like Ethan Lowe and Corey Norman just to field a team.

I don't know whether that makes Walters a good Coach or Fittler an awful one, especially given Fittler lost to perhaps the worst Queensland side ever and almost lost to Kevvie's battlers the year before that, but I don't see how anyone could label Walters the worst Queensland Coach.

How do you have faith though? He chops and changes our spine every week, he makes Turpin captain and then hooks him after 30 minutes for Dani levi who has been useless. He signs Asiata and doesn't play him.

He has no idea what he is doing.

Tbh He knows this season is wrecked and is merely seeing who cuts it at Nrl level by giving everyone a chance at proving themselves. Common sense really.

The constant changing of the halves on the one hand makes it very difficult for any trust to be developed in these key positions between the players. So defence suffers. On the attack side neither half now wants to make a mistake so no enterprise is shown for fear of being dropped. I am pretty sure WB would give them longer to gel. But it’s hard to gel when most of the time you are defending as we average about 20% less time with the ball per game. So how about we hang onto the ball when we have it and play to our strengths which are our forwards then kick to the corners and cause a mistake in our opponents. Then take our time and get repeat sets and tire our opponents. If we keep failing to do this Kevvie will have no other option but to play Billy at number 6. Our conspiracy theorists could argue then that it was always going to end this way.

We are a mess and we will continue to be a mess, there's no easy answers here. It's obvious as shit though that we are better than we were last year and that's all you can ask for as a fan, is some progress. If you expect miracles and for us to be challenging for the comp in the next year or 2, go watch the Lions. They're going good.
