I suppose so.

Don't get me wrong, I think Patty has been providing impact off the bench and he's been going pretty good. I do think Flegler brings more intensity, though. But I guess that's to be expected when they are two different types of forwards.

Patty did outperform Flegler against Manly, though.
Yep, Tommy does bring more intensity and physicality coming off the bench. I think what he lacks is the ability to keep digging in over and over like Pat does. That's just a fitness thing with Flegler though, not an attitude thing. I'd expect his ability to do that sort of thing will improve no end after a year or two in first grade.

This time we'll be missing our Origin players while they will lose no one and will have a full strength side with the return of Graham, Moylan, Johnson and Woods.
We could have as many as six or as little as two missing though. If the latter, we're still a chance as Sharks will lose Fatfita at least. Or has he resinged to only play for Tonga too?

The Knights win tonight makes this game even more crucial.

Our next month of footy.

Round 11 vs Warriors
Round 13 vs Titans
Round 14 vs Eels
Round 15 vs Knights
Round 16 vs Sharks

All of them away games. On paper, we should win the next 4. However, we're going up against bogey sides (Warriors & Eels) and Knights at home with the form they are currently in. We could drop a couple of games.

We will definitely lose the Sharks games. That's on the weekend before Origin.
The Knights smashed the roosters and could easily be seen as the form team atm
I wouldn't consider it a easy win.

My worry is our inconstancy, and us getting carried away with last weeks good W.
Lets hope the boys come with the right attitude and intensity and make it 3 in a row. The 8 has well and truely opened up and now is our time to make a run.

Carrrrrrn lads!!

You don't know for sure that Sharks will win. I am definitely giving us a chance. We were absolutely no chance against the Roosters....remember

It all depends on how many Origin players both sides lose. We've got Su'a to cover Gillett, Carrigan to cover a front rower (hopefully we don't lose too many). Oates is tougher, but a good opportunity to see how someone like Farnsworth would go.

With Oates out you just give Roberts his spot back for one game. Shiba covers Oates’ wing.

Hoeter to the wing, Roberts to right centre.

Roberts will have to make some good calls down that side with Ahearn.

Herbie v Roberts on that side too.

Any chance of a late sneaky change
Not unless there is an injury in warm up.

This is a tough game to tip as neither side set the world on fire and probably won't see action in Sept. But the RTS factor plus home advantage likely sees the Warriors prevail in possibly a tight one. It's a massive game as a Bronco win keeps them in touch with the other inconsistent sides on the ladder (of which there are many). A loss will signal a very long season indeed.

I want Farnsworth to succeed simply because I like saying his name! Herbert Farnsworth Esquire. I hope his middle names are Pinkerton Sedgwick. What a name!
