Except Boyd at 7 although Hornby won a premiership.

If we beat Parra it won't be by a huge margin. They have plenty of talent and very little luck lately. It will be tough, no doubts.

What I found from them is they are awful in the opposition 20 they just don't seem to be able to take their chances, I mean we were quite some way off our best - although Luke was outstanding - and without RTS and SJ who are ya know pretty important and we got the win on their home ground.

I like you guys here, you are starting to put together some tough wins and you are closing out close games which is great to see, I mean beating the Roosters ain't easy so hopefully you guys can get the win here.

Commentators on the QCUP saying that Wayne said he will give Murphy 2 more weeks to see how he goes before he cracks first grade, hope its true

Thats makes no sense. Bennett needs two more games from a guy that’s played 150 ISC games and scored 500 points?

Yep. Go tell them that.

Someone made a silly comment; a coach of 40 years doesn’t need 152 games to make a decision. Todd’s been at the Broncos for two years under Bennett’s nose all week. Bennett could have made a call day one!

Hopefully not a repeat of Titans/Knights/Manly. Although Manly are a real Jekyll and Hyde team of the comp this year.

I just want revenge for last year.

Parra are a team that you can't really grind into the ground. If they get a sniff they'll put on points quickly, just look at sharks game where they put on 18pts in 6 mins. They put +45 points on Manly because they were off.

We aren't consistent enough over 80 to keep them out the whole game, at some point they'll get their chance and getting the momentum back off them is tough.

Going to be a very tough game this, they like to play fast and throw a lot at the defence. Forwards as usual need to aim up to slow down the ruck or we could be scrambling all game.

I'd really like us to keep lining up TPJ on their half (will be Moses this game) and play off him through offloads or quick play the balls. You talk about structure that is a structure we should be looking for all game every game... isolating TPJ 1-on-1 make it happen Milf

Don’t see us as a team capable blowing a team off the park as yet, will probably be a well contested game that we should win on paper & form.

Offa said it in the interview, teams come to Suncorp and play their best footy due to the big crowds and hype of playing our club, no easy games.

Assuming our terrific pack of young forwards continues to aim up and dominate the middle while cutting back on the few errors, and, as long as we spread the ball wide to our edge forwards, with TPJ offloading to supports (and S'ua as well), and beyond to Roberts (and Staggs as the other centre would be great), we will win this easily.

In fact, if the Roosters form continues to develop and mistakes creep OUT of the game, I see a very bright future this year.

Attitude is everything (along with spreading the ball out to the edges and beyond).

Bit off topic but once gillett is back could we see Roberts return to the left running off of TPJ and milf lurking around with the second option of oates on a long ball?
In the words of the great jarryd hayne “i had a dream”.... kahu in the centres with isaako staying on that wing and bird to lock with lodge and mcguire props, glenn to the bench with sims, thaiday and ofa.. with lodge and TPJ we’d still have a big enough pack to carry the 2 smaller bodies of bird and mcguire (not that he needs carrying but too many smaller bodies does not go well in this nrl era), as well as a big bodied bench rotation.

Roberts’ preferred step is off his right foot, he’s far better suited to the right hand side.

Just dictate terms, win, win by 50 and not have injuries ffs
