Easily the best performance of the season.

I've been biting my tongue for awhile now, being careful not to be overly judgemental as I watched the team put together three ordinary performances in a row with the belief that in their past two victories, it was more about the actual result than it was about the performance against two very ordinary teams. This week, they've come up against a Manly team and even without DCE, Watmough, G. Stewart, they were always going to have to lift and I'm glad they did.

Good attitude, nice play around the ruck and good support all afternoon. Not a perfect performance by any means and the defence in particular at times was pretty soft but one that makes me happy to support the side all the same.

A lot to like from everybody this afternoon. Hard to really pick out any players.

That was our best game all year, quite frankly. And NO HODGES.

Ben Hunt was easily best on ground, as I predicted. He wants that Maroon jersey, right or wrong. Vidot's best performance all year, Copley came alive in the second half after a clanger first, Barba came alive a bit as well which was good to see. We missed Thaiday badly.

I'd just like to point out that like 90% of the posts on here gave the Broncos no chance.

Looked like Barba wasn't limping for the first time this year which is great signs for the future. I thought Glenn had a great game and Reed's effort in defence was exceptional.

Just what I needed after that origin game, I strong win against a top 4 side. Thank the footy gods hunt ended up staying with us.

I still think a Thurston to 7, Smith to 6 and sometime else to 9 is the likely option.

Geez, he's having a good year though. Has really stepped up and answered the critics.

Hopefully we play like that next week, and grind the Raiders to dust. Some momentum would be nice going into Origin 2.

Ben Hunt was awesome. Troubled the defense all day long. Copley was a standout for mine. A couple of tries, some really good runs and some crucial last ditch defense. He kept Matai quiet all day.

As chuffed as I am with today's effort, I doubt it.
