The Sharks are very apprehensive about this match. For once I think we're true favourites. I think(hope!) the Milford selection is a smokescreen but we shall see. The two passionate Sharks supporters I know very well are not optimistic about their chances and expect the Broncos to be ultra competitive. They both have much more faith in us than we do. They don't know each other. Two horse race so...

Paix is being turned into a hooker, that's been the plan for him so why would we then throw him in the halves?

Besides, the rookies in our side, we need to manage their workloads. These guys aren't used to the weekly grind of the NRL, eventually they could burn out and that will impact their development. We need to give them a rest when we can.

and lets not forget that the player in question is not only new to the NRL but also relatively new to hooker, which has a much higher workload than the halves

I can actually see us being competitive or even winning this, Turpin is a huge ball of enthusiasm and desperately needed in this team.

Shame Croft got injured because he shows a little more effort than Milfraud.

There really wasn't much difference between Niu and Isaako but Niu is 5 years younger, so that is kind of cool...if he stays.

Just bought some tickets on line, prices are going down.
Now only $20 for behind the goalposts.
At this rate by the time of the Cowboys game they should be free.

On stats yes, but Niu was alot more involved in the game as a Fullback hanging around the middle and such, but you can tell he is being pushed into first grade too early, has high potential though.

That was the difference I spotted. Niu hung around for an offload far more than Isaako did. There just wasn't any. :D
