PRE-GAME Round 12 - Broncos vs Storm

If Milford is in the fucking team list this week, I swear.

Kev won't have much choice if Khunt is still pulling up sore and Staggs isn't ready to return. Personally I would be on both of their cases all week with "Are you good to go? Are you good to go? How are you feeling today?", ALL just to avoid dragging Milford back in.

I'd rather him put TPJ at halfback.

Milford would be that traumatised from the beatings he’s had at the hands of the storm...

Given we're not really a chance against the storm, I actually think this would be a bit of fun and would really allow us to make that edge a lot tougher for them. TPJ would have a massive laugh and probably either play like garbage or have a blinder, not much in between there.

NRL.com reporting that Robati, Piakura or Levi will come onto the bench for Lodge. with either Asiata or Kennedy to start
Id prefer Asiata to come off the bench, he can put his ball skills to good use aorund a tired ruck area.

We dont have a lot of strike in our team...

Will be good to finally see what Paikura can do...

Has Isaako ever done that in and away before? Should be bread and butter stuff for a fullback but I can’t really recall it happening. Looked good

He definitely seems less awkward running and pass right to left than the other way.

I would think dragging Staggs back in a week or two early in a season that is already gone would be a tad careless.

Milford's motto: I'm just here to watch.

That's slim pickings. Piakura has played 56 minutes in a month.

Robati has played 80 minute every week and is going well in an unbeaten team but I don't think I wold be putting him in NRL yet. His tackle breaking runs and his offloading have been king this season. He's been so dangerous with the ball he creates line breaks with his passing but I just don't know if he's ready for NRL v the Storm.

If you had to pick someone to play 10 minutes as much as I don't want it he'd maybe be Levi I guess.

But they're not great choices at all.

Nah I’m tipping Robati... he’s got good size for his age and he would fit that bench spot better than any of our other options so I’d be picking him... also if we get spanked we can drop him and use it as a lesson to show him how much more work he needs to put in to be first grade standard... I actually have very high hopes for him... I am hoping him and Piakura have smooth transitions into first grade over the coming years cause we would have two damaging edge forwards who run excellent lines

They certainly haven’t been doing it. Piakura did against Souths and Robati was strong in the trial but apart from that it’s been very slow running.

I thought Robati went well for Wynnum too on their edge- he’s a Broncos’ kid and at only 18 stood up with strong carries.

Willison was great in defence, I can’t figure out how he is so mobile. He saved two tries covering across.

Bullemor played 65 minutes and was running really hard and smart with his runs.

Early days but lots to do and learn with running the ball.

I know I shouldn’t watch this game because I already know what’s going to happen but I’ll be a dickhead and watch it. And when we are getting flogged I’ll get angry and wonder why I still support some of these retards. I’m a sucker for pain like a lot of us on here watching us play like rejects year in year out against Melbourne
