Round 12 - Broncos vs. Warriors - Post Match Discussion

I think the best outcome from this match could be he has the full support of the board and he can take Kearney with him.

If Griffin walks, Kearney will get the gig and if only for the rest of this season I'm happy for that to happen.

Lollace has a sharper passing game than McCullough, but ironically he's just terrible at everything else. Did he even run from dummy half at all?

Line speed!!! Oh wait how can you have line speed when you don't move up, except for one who runs out and creates a hole.

3 in a tackle and they still offload. Angled runners or lack thereof same same with forwards passing at the line.

Lost the territory battle and allowed them to roll us

This really says it all ... and we do it with our Origin players as well.

We don't need stars as much as serious coaching of the basics

THIS!

What do we DO at training??

Attack? Doubt it.

Defence? Ummmmmmm....

Do we practice our "shit we lost again" faces???

Anyone?

the stats are absolutely astrocious.
linebreaks 14-3.
tackle busts 37-14.
offloads 20-4
run meters 1529-979
missed tackles 14-37

I can't recall a time where I have turned a broncos game off before full time. But after warriors' first try of the second half I'd had enough. What a joke of a team, no heart whatsoever. I knew Brisbane would struggle in this game but **** me dead. 100 bucks says griffin remains positive after that disgusting performance

No hindsight Guru here, just a common sense guru matey.

Don't know which one was worse, this loss or our 42-22 loss against Parramatta last year.

Any decent coaches on the market?

Bennett maybe looking to return home, but considering how the Knights are going, I wouldn't expect any magic solution from even him with this rabble of a squad.

As bad as we were we needed to start well to have any chance. I thought 3 of their first 4 tries were ref mistakes. The other thing I hated was how the posing kiwi ***** kept blowing kisses at the camera, that shit is bad enough when you're actually good but when you're shit playing a worse team it just means you'r a ****.

Now that's off my chest, get used to more of this if Griffin stays. I've been of the opinion that he is limited as a coach pretty much from the start but happy enough to give him a go. As of now I'm done, he sticks with players of limited skill then coaches that little bit of skill out of them.

He will be lucky to see next year. As I have said before his future lies with crowds who will directly reflect results, playing style and effort.
He has proven to everyone his methods don't work and yet nothing changes.

As far as Corey Norman is concerned he has a few weak areas to improve but everyone here who wants him gone I have one question, how do you think we will score points next year? We have no other viable option, our only move is the second man play.

This club is a shandy off being a rabble, the only good thing about that is it will speed up the process of getting a new coach with a clue on how to take the club forward.

The thing is what we need most work on is not rocket science. It is simple repetition until the basics are "automatic", and plays are set the same way.

This is what I can't get about Hook. All he has to do is ls read the Acme Book of Coaching.
