After a forgettable afternoon, Wighton may have produced the most important play of the game. Perrett was away and while any fullback worth their salt would have put them down, the ferocity of Wighton's hit stalled the Dogs just enough to put them off on the last play. Fast-forward and Leilua is over in the corner.

Sets up an interesting second half. The Dogs have been the better side, but that try on half-time was a reminder of the Raiders tenacity.

There is absolutely no way (the commentators were going on a hunch) they could DEFINITIVELY say that was not a try and so since it went up as a try, by the letter of the law it has to be given.

Actually you couldn't tell if he did ground it or not & the ref went to the bunker with a try, so it should have been a try.
