Good win tonight, but we have a tough one next week. Need to repeat that second half but for the whole 80 because Raiders have shown they can score points very quickly when needed.

Short turnaround and players backing up against one of our bogey teams at a ground we've lost at often.

I'm still confident, though. The Raiders defense is terrible, hitting them hard up the middle and second phase play are the key IMO.

And getting numbers on Boyd whenever he gets the ball. He has been great for them this year.

Not much difference between Canberra and Newcastle defensively. Milford will be massive against his old club.

Was just thinking that this year's "list of nice things" would include wins over the Raiders & the Storm. Now is our chance to get one of those. Interesting to see who backs up. Gillett & McGuire will not get too many minutes (>30 each) so injuries aside they should be there. I think Parker & Thaiday will have played a bit longer but may still play, but the Saturday slot makes it a tricky 3-day turnaround. If Hodges has a big one he might need the rest, and thankfully we're in a position to give him some recovery time. Boyd would be a certainty.

The raiders are massive, we need to lift big time in D otherwise we'll be playing every set off our own try line. Loving milfs progress, hope he puts his old team to the sword...

I just want to see the look on Ricky's face when Milford carves them up.

I pray the football gods will give me the satisfaction of witnessing that.

The Raiders are looking good. Won't be easy that's for sure.

No matter how you look at this match, it is hard to pick. Every time a team gets its origin stars back the team seems slow and lethargic, like they are waiting for the big guns to win the match. If Canberra are switched on we will struggle and after what came at them last week they will doubtless be grateful we are a much smaller side. I'm thinking I'll back one team and have the other in the tips ! Winner loser ....

If we pass the ball, offload, support, and have Milford and Hunt getting it wide, and as long as our line speed improves and missed tackles reduce, we should win this by 10.

Our performance tonight showed just how important our halves are.

Funny thing, I was confident enough to back the Broncos against Newcastle at good odds but when the bookies have them close to even money against the Raiders I cannot find much confidence. Of course there are good reasons to think with our stars back we must be a great chance but this match worries me.

I assume everyone will back up, not sure if we'll be seeing Nikorima though, he looked pretty hurt. I'm fine with using a big bench against the Raiders anyway, they're a huge team.

1. Boyd
2. Maranta
3. Reed
4. Hodges (c)
5. Kahu
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Blair
11. Glenn
12. Thaiday
13. Parker

14. Gillett
15. Oates
16. Wallace
17. Ofahengaue

I was actually more impressed by Molo than I was Wallace last night. He seems to use his size to his advantage a lot better and made good metres with a few carries

Molo did look pretty good. Wallace got a great offload away that was followed by another offload before a try.

I dont get the 4 forwards bench thing. You are just splitting the already limited time even more. And the 4th forward is usually the worst

The Raiders are a lot better team then last year and have shown some progress. This won't be an easy game.

Milf could either win it or lose it for you, if Papa is up for running at his lil bro all day (which should be the game plan) it could be very dangerous, lots of points plus help nullify his attack.

We need to target Croker, he's their biggest dud in defence.

Brilliant game plan. I'm sure no coach has come up with that one in the past eleven weeks.
