Parker played very well tonight. Can't fault him although he does have a tendency to be bit of a ball hog. But hey I'll take that than the captain who only took 3 runs in one half.

That game was the perfect encapsulation of the Broncos. Some really good plays mixed in with way more terrible ones. Frustrating to watch and I can't blame fans for wanting to carve them up.

Agreed, as did Hodges trying his best to spark the rest of the team.

Hoffman brave tonight and a gun as always.

Dodds was solid, Norman was also pretty good.

Meh for the rest.


Start planning for next year, drop all who won't be there (Norman) to start working on combinations. This year's gone. The entire club needs one hell of a rocket, players and coaching staff alike.

Well it's official, we are a bottom 4 side. Even with our Origin reps backing up we still weren't really a threat and never looked like winning, but at 24 nil down before the first half was even over it was never ever likely. Canberra were better than us, obviously, but not by that much. I will expect a complete annihilation of the Tigers next Monday and nothing less.

PS. Monday night games are the worst.

same old crap. we turned on the attitude for 25 mins and looked good - albeit the ability still held us back in actually getting over the try line. due to our lack of actual skill/ability we really cant get away with only trying for a 1/4 of the game.

parker huge effort. hoffman still our best player this year. norman was solid although quiet in attack. our halves and hooker find themselves out of position and coming up with poor results far too often still.

i dont see how we can avoid the bottom 4 this year. even with the right attitude we just dont have the cattle in the halves to actually lead us around and control a game.

we've got a handful of origin players, a former Blues halfback and a couple of kiwi internationals ... we're not premiership material but we have the cattle to do a shit load better than 5 & 8 .. its the fact that our squad is clearly not happy / harmonious due to something and as a result is not playing hard.

i definitely agree. when we turned on the right attitude in the second half the go forward was there but once we got in an attacking position the halves had no idea and 5th tackle options were again embarassing at times.

thaiday was decent in the second half but that effort on edwards on our try line was pathetic and 10 steps back from the 2 steps he took forward.

Yeah you did yourself a massive favor by not watching that rubbish. There is way too much talk at the moment and absolutely zero action to back it up. We are the first team this season to get hammered one week and beaten comfortably the next, something is wrong and even though we will probably beat the Tigorz next match, what does that mean? Nothing. We are still rubbish.

From what I saw of the game Macca looked good a few times but again was soo slow. Can someone please get a tape of Smith and tie him to a chair and make him watch it.

Gillett looked strong with his fends but his offloads are wayward
