Sadly, I'm hoping it's the latter. The bigger and more consistent the losses, the more unstable Griffin and Gees positions become.

I feel a bit odd doing this. I don't want to deathride my team but I feel like if we get thrashed a few more times, the heads will have no choice but to come out of the sand.

It's going to hurt, though.

Yes, I would love for us to learn from this thrashing from the Warriors and change our season and attitude around. But we all know that's not likely to happen. I too think it might be best for the team to completely derail so some massive changes can happen.

WHitchurch named for Redcliffe this week but Kemp and Marketo aren't. They both could be injured but maybe they are going to be in an extended squad?

doubt we'll get much from the side named today. most teams that play monday night just hand in the same team list from that game for the tuesday lineups as nothings been decided yet.

Hodges needs to retire soon. We need someone who plays more than 8 games a year, even if he isn't as influential as Hodges (who seems to influence bad things more than the good these days anyway).

Brisbane need to bounce back and bounce back well if they want to give themselves any hope of making the 8.

I'm fine with the selections although I would have dropped Whitchurch. His form isn't where it should be and I thought his performance was worse than anything Maranta has dished up. Don't even know who you pick - all the options we have really aren't NRL standard.

Would have dropped Hunt back to QCup too with instructions that he'll come back in as a half as soon as he starts proving his consistency. Granville back in because I like his pace off the bench.

So frustrated with Hooks continual selection of Hunt as a bench player. No point to it at all. Granville should be on the bench and Hunt should be developing his game as a half. The club has destroyed any hope of him actually being any good. Whitchurch is lucky for mine but worthy of another shot. He doesn't look like a winger at all IMO.

The bigger bodies theory worked out well, Griffin was happy with the effort and wants to see more of the same this week.
