OK, let me get this straight, you want to move our full time halfback to hooker, and bring our utility HOOKER to halfback?
Why not just leave our halfback where he is and where he plays his best football, bring Waddell on to start the game for the first 20 and let Kodi play for the rest of the game.
Why the **** would you want to weaken two key spine positions when the best option is only to weaken one

I can't remember the order our players were rested last year, but I imagine Wayne will rest 2 and play 4 after each game. First up will probably be Parker & Thaiday.

1. Boyd (c)
2. Oates
3. Reed
4. Roberts
5. Kahu
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. Waddell
10. Blair
11. Glenn
12. Gillett
13. Ofahengaue

14. Wallace
15. Ese'ese
16. Pangai Junior
17. Nikorima

I think McGuire would start at lock and Wallace at front row in that rotation

I'd prefer to bring Wallace in off the bench. He seems to be more effective as oppose to starting and Offa looks comfortable starting imo.

to be honest here, I didn't really notice Ofa much on Friday night when he was starting

Why would we move our best prop to lock to make way for Jarrod Wallace lol, if anything we'd just throw Wallace (or Ofa) in to lock again, he did an alright job last week.

I hope they put Wallace on the bench.

Lately he seems to really make a difference coming on around the 20 minute mark. ... something we'll be needing against the big Warriors pack.

Last year Brisbane had to back up on three occasions.

Round 12 vs Canberra
Round 15 vs Melbourne
Round 18 vs Canterbury

Against Canberra they rested Justin Hodges and Sam Thaiday.

Against Melbourne they rested Justin Hodges and Corey Parker.

And against Canterbury it was only Hodgo who earned the night off.

Brisbane will go into the game hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. I don't want to speculate about injuries, I've just got my fingers crossed the players will pull through OK. For Bennett, his biggest concern will be the games against Canberra and Melbourne. It's one thing to back up after an Origin, the effort it takes to play three games in nine days is greater. Last year we saw what the schedule did to Josh McGuire, fingers crossed Brisbane receive a better run with injuries this year.

Given they have to fly to NZ I think we might see a few, if not all of them rested. Not much recovery time.

Yeah I didn't think offa played well. Only one good run. Hence him being hooked I think.

If they rest Parker, McGuire plays like the lock anyways when he is off the field. I would do that or just move Blair to lock

Not that big a difference flying to/from NZ or Brissy from Sydney though...

Manu Vatuvei is back for this according to the NZ Herald.

No doubt this will be one of the few games his brain is switched on and he's at his rampaging best.

Maybe we should switch Oates to the right so we have a bigger guy marking up on Manu.

Is that in the case that Boyd doesn't back up after Origin? Kahu absolutely killed Manu the last time we met.

Ankle tap the bastard.

Another example of incompetence from the nrl. Any Aus side playing Nz (and let's be fair, it should be one that had little origin players the year before), should play on Sunday/ Monday if they absolutely have to schedule a game in Nz straight after soo.

The warriors have been pathetic this year, and we'd towel them with our full side on the park, but this will be close.
