We are already in a slump and will be until the end of origin.
I'm expecting a big game from Luke this week.
He was in tears after his haka last week because he felt he let his family, fans and members down.
I'm expecting that to motivate him, and with our Origin forwards likely being rested and with the loss of Macca, he could really tear us to shreds in the middle which would lift the rest of the team.
I'm not very confident about this game.
Boys just landed. Nice and easy.
At one point, it looked like he was scalped... :shocked:How's Corey Oates? His head looked nasty on tv last night but it was probably just the blood + hair + that goo used to stop bleeding making it look worse than it really was. Will he play this week?

I hope Gillet, Oates, Boyd and Parker are rested. They are too valuable to risk. Apart from which I want to see the young forwards get further experience which will come in handy when we might need it most - at the back end of the season, aside from which I enjoy watching young talent time.
If we go down minus some key players, particularly forwards, it is hardly a form slump, it is coaching and experience for their young replacements.
Also, I am seriously expecting (I wish I could say "demanding") BIG games from Hunt, Milford and Roberts. Either way, the result doesn't bother me too much although of course 2 points would be nice at this time of the season.
Have to agree about Hunt, Milf and Roberts, and our other more senior players as well. They badly let down the young blokes against a poor tigers side imo.
Or the young blokes let down Hunt..
Dont think the tigers were poor against us tbh, but i dont think they are that good a footy team. I think we didnt impose ourselves enough against them which allowed them to play the game they wanted to.
