The point is he didn't get the opportunity to put pressure on either Thaiday or Glenn. This notion that he should have been in the team and that he was hard done by is difficult to buy into when he didn't get the opportunity to add to his case.
I'm certainly not blaming him or holding it against him, it's just the way the situation played out.
Plenty of great young talent to keep an eye on in future years.
A couple of players could do with a rest. I don't think Blair is one of them. Granted he's been in the thick of it recently, getting himself suspended for stupid reasons or just trying too hard to make things happen but for the most part he has a role in this team and he's been doing it nicely.
On the other hand, Sam could do with a week off. Again, before last week I thought he was one of the Broncos better players. He hasn't been killing it per say, but he's generally added something off the bench or filled in well for Glenn.
