Predicting Talakai get's Stagg's jersey, we're going to need solid defence over that side. They may slide Holmes to the wing as I don't see him having the defensive chops to hold out Talakai.

Very true could deflate his confidence but literally couldn't ask for a better 7 for him to do it alongside. Same with defencee assuming Capes plays. Just have to make sure he puts the same energy and emphasis into defence as he did in the first 2 games.

I don't think we have any issues with EM that aren't present in every smaller player's weaknesses. He can and must make tackles with just a normal miss rate.

If he handled staggs he can handle talaki. Talaki won't get a spot anyway. Extremely over rated. He'd get bamboozled by Holmes in defence too with his speed

I don't get the staggs hate from nsw fans. His defence was perfect and he nearly created 1 or 2 chances by tupou was way out of position.

I thought he went ok... but I think Coates actually did a good job on him.

Latrell, Wighton and Talakai are all left side centres, so Staggs competition will be Graham and Crichton.

I think it would be harsh to drop Staggs and I have less fear in Graham if he's brought in... thought Crichton had minimal impact after coming on to replace Staggs as well

There's no way Crichton elevated himself above staggs last night. Thought he was worst on ground, although it was a very, very unfair position for fittler to put him in. The young bloke just tried too hard to make an impact.
