Staggs 'injury' seems a bit fishy, wouldn't surprise me if that was yet another example of Fittler trying to be brilliant but actually being a spud.
Seems suspiciously like he was planning all along to sub Staggs for Chrichton and used a superficial 'shoulder injury' to try to justify / hide the switch to shield himself from criticism since NSW were losing at the time.
Would not be shocked at all to see Staggs play this week.
If you had to drop one NSW centre to make way for Latrell it absolutely should not be Staggs - Chrichton was awful.

They really should be dropping 2 centres for Latrell if they want to bring him in, you don't need one on the bench.

Staggs played fine the problem was he got injured just as the game was opening up,, first half was a proper slog.
Talakai will be gassed after 15 mins in origin, I highly doubt he can handle the intensity.

Not kidding at all. It would be a total mismatch close to the line. Holmes is great, don't get me wrong, but he'd get outmuscled by Talakai, even if it was just for 15 minutes. Talakai is beast mode and very strong.

God I hope they pick Talakai... imagine Munster and DCE exposing his complete lack of lateral movement all night. They would absolutely terrorise him.
I don’t see him dominating the origin arena at all. I think he is completely overrated. He hasn’t played good against any good centres
