He at least needs to play X and Bunt as locks. The only time we looked good last week was when Bunt was at lock.
Junt as 2nd row. Who is the most agile/laterally fast out of our 2nd row options, Rey looking slower in defense doesn't help. Staggs helps a lot in defense too next to Junt.
Bring someone else in for hooker rotation, like Rogers (who can play lock and half too), Buk or Mozer. Bunt at hooker has rarely ever worked.
And give the starting 8 jersey to a bloke who is going to run hard, like Talty or Semu.

All in all, it is really just 1 change in personnel. Possibly Aublix to come back in on bench or possibly starting prop as a "shock" change. Even Francis, as 1910 said, would work, as he is a natural lock. Which would move X to prop.

I have said that Francis and Bryce would be perfect for this situation and that's based on watching them. They both bring energy and enthusiasm something lacking at the moment and Bryce has played 80 minutes his first seven Cup games and hasn't even looked like needing a break.

I have also said Bukowski played 80 minutes on Saturday his second game back Head has played him 72 and 80 minutes his two games back from shoulder injury and Mozer played 40 minutes and scored a good try beating three Magpies with a smart run, but they are just back from injuries so that needs to be considered.

I have said they're the only four changes I think you can make to improve the side.

No, I meant Francis to go to lock off the bench with Rogers, Aublix, Bunt etc starting lock, with X in the middle with Haas. If Madge wanted to be harsh and throw the axe with underperforming players. Which as I said, is doubtful, other than positional changes with the starting side, which I am all for.

GA probably in for Gem. X will go to middle. What frustrates me is Madge said in the interview that he prefers X in the middle...it is like God damn play him in the middle ffs. Put someone else on the edge. Not X or JGos, because they have proven useful elsewhere too.

I really hope we see 'some' change at hooker. Until we sort the service at 9 and the forwards being smashed, we aren't going to see too much difference no matter the halves, so I wouldn't be shocked if there are no changes at 6/7.

X at prop/lock - It's killing us him being on an edge, and not because he is horrible on the edge, but we miss him in the middle.

Forced change of Anderson in for Shiba is a net positive based on performances of both this year. Whether he plays centre or wing though will be interesting.

My only gripe about dropping Ezra is we seem so slow on our attacking plays and dropping the fastest half isn’t going to speed the backline plays up at all
That and I wish Paix or hunt or who ever would run more out of dummy half
**** we miss Billy and his darts from dummy half. Team is way too predictable now without a runner at 9 threatening.
