Nice of you to be on night watch.

Nice of you to be on night watch.
Ha ha. No timetable in my life, at least when I am on my two weeks off in Perth. Shiftworker for over 40 years so day night all blends into one. Looking forward to retirement though. **** work.

If Turps milf and Boyd missed those tackles the way friend, Keary & teddy missed Hughes this place would be blowing up.

Anyone who is calling for Welch please stop... the guy is a total fucking plodder

So you agree the injury excuse for Seibold is a cop out? Shit coach.

Not quite. The Storm have been coached to play the way they do for years and years consistently, a formula that just works. We have no rhyme or reason as a team, and haven't for years and years. Given that, we rely on individual talent far too much, so injuries to key players seriously impact us more than they should. We are in no way organised like the Storm, and as I said, to get there takes years of hard work.

For mine, Seibold needs a lot more time to fail at that. His coaching is shit for other reasons, like our appalling defence.

What a shit season for injuries. Am I imagining it or is this season a lot worse than previous ones

Does look like a young Tolman

Not really I dont think. Made plenty of meters and post contact meters. Hit hard in defense as well. Actually now I think about it, his work rate and no fuss style is similar to Tolman.

Christian would be a nice signing if you could get him on a similar deal that he's on in Melbourne. However, he's a smart guy so he's going to try and make as much money as he can before his body gives out on him. That's if he decides to leave Melbourne which I can't see unless they need to squeeze somebody out.

I feel stupid for tipping Sydney. The entire week I knew Melbourne would just rely on their forwards and would keep Sydney deep inside their own half. I could see their start coming a mile away, I just thought this would be that game where despite all common sense, Sydney would be shown an inch and they'd take a mile. That's not how it panned out, it actually ended up being a really difficult night for them and they were fortunate not to be on the end of an embarrassing loss. There were some really embarrassing moments and everything just seemed to favour Melbourne on the night.

MAybe because they executed their game plan (sans Smith & Munster) to perfection. Played almost the perfect game of league, tactically. We are so far away from either it isn't funny.

I also thought Lam was a weakness for the Roosters. His kicking game?

How good would some tactics be at the broncos

It’s so simple but you have to be fit enough and be committed to the little things to achieve it. It bothers me greatly because we are way to lazy to even come close to what is essentially the simplest of game plans.

When reflecting on the Storm's game last night, apart from Bromwich, Hughes and Paps there were no other real outstanding performances. What was noticeable however, was that every player was 100% committed to everything they did. There were no flashes of brilliance just a team willing to put their bodies on the line for a full 80 minutes.

The other glaring point was their execution. They made little if any errors that actually cost them. This one telling stat ensured the Roosters got no easy meterage, no easy access to the ball and no easy way out of their own 20M zone. Added to this there was next to no 6 agains given away which suggests their discipline was the most outstanding aspect of their game last night. It's no coincidence that our discipline is almost the polar opposite to the Storm's.
