POST GAME Round 15 - Broncos vs Dragons

He is the same height as Glenn. How is he too small? He will bulk up naturally as he ages. He played backrow for Redcliffe in ISC and handled it easily. Just dont see an NRL backrower in Rikki tbh.
Didn't say he couldn't play backrow just I think he suits center or possibly 6 better. His explosiveness is what makes him a threat, you put another 10 + kilos on him and you possibly lose it. As for rikki he is tall , rangy and a strong runner much more suited to backrow imo

It is indicative of the team's mindset that no one is thinking follow the ball carrier in case of an off load and stay alive in the play.

Storm would never touch a player that trains like Purcell.

They have a good record of getting players to buy into their systems. I think it would be interesting to see him have a full pre season with them. Just love how he plays the game.

No mate he was being slammed.9 posters in a row, all calling him, plodder, terrible, garbage. Slammed. Just have to look the live thread.

Admittedly...I haven't read the live thread.

Its not better
It’s still another loss and still some fucking soft tries
Stop accepting mediocre performances
the first try was terrible. Kennedy did some good things later but ffs start of the gsme woeful

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Kennedy in his first stint. You probably haven't watched it again paying attention to Kennedy in his first stint. The only possible blemish you could find would be the soft first try but that was a poor response from Joffa rather than Kennedy. Watch again and see if I'm correct.

Sorry but I disagree, it was soft by both of them.

No different to some of the soft tries that have gotten past Haas this year. Kennedy was left stranded by the tacklers bunched at the PTB, but had they spread, Hunt probably would’ve gone himself. A try was coming regardless.

I'm sorry, but watching Kennedy start for us this week was for me the absolute embodiment of everything that is so fundamentally wrong with the Broncos at the moment.

Yet we played so much better, we weren't beaten through the middle aside from the first 7 minutes and had Joffa and Te'o done a little better it would have been a win. Besides, wouldn't it be the same at any other club? Given our injuries and Hass suspension? Every other club would need to start their lesser lights in similar circumstances.

I actually thought it was the opposite. Both Kennedy and Joffa ran on to the ball. It's amazing how you can see the same game yet think it was somehow worse when most seemed pleased we had forwards hitting the pass at speed.

Yeah, what was it with our forwards actually running onto the ball, hitting the advantage line at a bit of pace? Haven't seen that at the Broncos for about 5 years.
It's those terrible benchy/reserve grade forwards thinking they have a chance to impress. Of course, 3 minutes in to the match we have the experts calling them hopeless, shit, not worthy of the jumper etc. The temerity of Kennedy and Joffa to be ripping and tearing. Ridiculous, who do they think they are, showing up the flat footer brigade.

He wouldn't get past the intel stage. Bunn would weed him out if he hasn't already. He hasn't played well for two years.

That’s not Milford’s fault, he wasn’t even looking.

Yeah......throwing a stab at Milford by describing it as "very poor play" is just showing an obvious agenda and bias against Milford. Kennedy saw Milford wasn't looking and threw the pass anyway......either way, it was a pass that didn't need to be thrown.......and cost us field position / momentum.
